Dusty Pink Faux Fur and Brown Riding Boots

Follow me on BLOGLOVIN and INSTAGRAM

beanie: H&M / faux fur: H&M / knit: FB Sister / trousers: Bikbok / bag: Second-hand / boots: Second-hand

Today's style was calling for comfort and warmth. That's what I piled on me before we went to the mall to make some purchases for our brand new dishwasher and food for the weekend. Still need some hooks for the hangers of my plants to give them a better shot at getting some light treatment at this dark time of the year. I'm already dreading the upcoming week when it's said to go under -10 celsius. Yikes. I've gotten too used to the light degrees from -3 to 5.

But to the outfit. I also had a scarf wrapped around my neck and it made my boyfriend say I look like a damn toddler in this outfit. He said it was because of the scarf but I think it's because when the roads are all frozen and slippery I tend to waddle like a tiny penguin. Well nevertheless I'm loving this look and this faux fur is so perfectly extra I just adore it to the bits. Looks so me.

Any weird comments you've gotten on your outfits from your s/o, friends or family?

5 bad habits I am trying to get better at this year

Follow me on BLOGLOVIN and INSTAGRAM

coat: Second-hand + Zara / trousers: Bikbok / bag: Second-hand / shoes: Skopunkten

We all have habits we're not proud of but very often just brush aside. I'm going to list here some of mine which I desire to change for good this year.

1. I pick on my skin - If I have pimples or scabs or anything on my skin I tend to pick on it either consciously or unconsciously. Trying to change the conscious part so maybe the the unconscious one will also decrease

2. Overt shopping - I love clothes, and fashion, and pretty things. This means I also buy them as if I absolutely need them. Lately I have been trying to find some pretty much perfect items to replace okay ones and I am going to sell or donate to charities the ones which I am not completely sold on.

3. Throwing out veggies that have gone bad in the fridge instead of using them in time - I like veggies a lot but I really hate chopping and peeling them (why I use frosted veggies pre-chopped etc.) So very often I end up with not so fresh items in the fridge. Going to get more motivated on using the items before going bad.

4. I leave teeny tiny trashes around the apartment - On the tables and counter tops there are very often found receipts, clothes tags, candy papers anything small and papery. It drives my boyfriend crazy so I'm trying to get better at throwing them immediately to the trash.

5. Leaving the lights on when I leave the house - This is mainly because I feel bad leaving our cat alone in the dark. But it loses electricity and cats can see in the dark...

Do you have any bad or undesirable habits you wish to get rid of?

Red Floral Dress and A Camel Coat

Follow me on BLOGLOVIN and INSTAGRAM

bag: Second-hand / coat: Second-hand / dress: H&M / jeans: H&M / shoes: Second-hand

I have been looking for a perfect red floral dress for me but none before this one have satisfied me properly so I haven't purchased them. It has the perfect shade of red and the right style of printed flowers to fit my kind of person. The camel coat is a Second-hand buy from yesterday it was cheap and a bit broken. But it's also 60% wool and the coat itself is in dapper condition only the lining was broken and I fixed it in no time. Again the perfect shade to fit my colours and the length is superb on me as I am rather short they tend to be way too long.

I like mixing second-hand and new bought items together as you have probably seen and noticed. This has got to be one of my favourites.

Fake Shearling Jacket and Floral Embroidered Jeans

Follow me on BLOGLOVIN and INSTAGRAM

jacket: Second-hand / knit: Second-hand / jeans: Bikbok / bag: Second-hand / boots: Dinsko

Here's today's outfit! Found this fake shearling jacket yesterday at UFF for half-price and the turtleneck knit just called my name when I saw it (the colour is so Me). The jeans are from Bikbok and were already introduced on my INSTAGRAM few days ago and have been wearing them since! They were 70% off and are so comfy and stretchy but look fine as hell and are perfect for the embroidery trend going on. The boots are old as time but still working even though they're fake leather, but they are still doing their job.

Christmas Day's Outfit - Leopard print coat and Blue turtleneck knit

bag: Second-hand / coat: H&M / knit: Amisu / jeggins: Cubus / shoes: Second-hand

***

This coat is what I chose to get for myself as a Christmas present and I just love love LOVE it! It's so soft and warm and wonderful to wear. I wore this outfit today when we went on a hunt to find a Lidl that would've been open, but the internet page lied and not one shop was open in Helsinki were we would have found liquorice raspberry flavoured mulled wine (yes it's absolutely delicious!). Not a successful hunt on that part but we got some vegan chocolate and salt and vinegar chips instead (not complaining).

Have a happy Christmas Day!

Red Beret and Teddycoat in a Blizzard

Hello dears! Long time no post, first it was the shock of coming back home and then week ago I got really sick and am currently suffering from laryngitis so posting hasn't been my top choice as I've felt very crappy. But today we had a date with my bf and went to have lunch and shopping (which he didn't enjoy one bit) and came home for some nice hot coffee and Futurama. So I felt like dressing up nicely and I truly love the outcome, other than my hair got all poofy from the blizzard and snow and my shoes got wet, but those are little things to worry, otherwise the outfit is a bomb!

It's nice to feel genuinely happy about life and being excited over things small and large. The holiday time couldn't have come in a better time and I'm enjoying it to the bits and as much as I can for the next weeks.

How has your life been lately and are you as excited as I am over the holiday season?

Acne Flare-up and It's Effects on Me + A Bit of Body Image

Follow me on BLOGLOVIN and INSTAGRAM

bag: Second-hand / blouse: H&M / bra: H&M / culottes: Second-hand+DIY / shoes: Second-hand

*This time only in English*

Hi everyone! We are on our last full day here at Las Palmas and these are photos of my outfit for yesterday evening. As you can see I feel happy and joyful even though my skin doesn't look like it's best. Since coming here my acne completely flared-up and my face especially chin got covered in achy and big breakouts. It's probably because of the sun, sweat and sunscreen combined and has had me a bit down. But I didn't want it to affect my stay here and ruin my so far so good holiday.

Otherwise I really like how I look in these photos, I look cute and happy, but the acne and uneven skin makes me look at these and think I'm an ugly duckling. And the second thought I get is: Why?! When I see acne on some other person I think nothing about it, but on myself it makes me feel really self-conscious and un-confident. But why must it be so? I try to change my perspective and look at myself and not feel bad about how my skin or my body looks. I want to wear whichever clothes I find pretty and nice looking and wear makeup to accentuate my looks and make them stand out.

But as I have suffered from a bad self-image and hated my body for so long it's a long journey to somewhere where I can say I truly love it. Right now I'm on a self-accepting phase, I accept myself as I am at this moment, but I can't say I like it. I use this blog as one platform for self-love and a form to grow as a person. I want to show myself as I am and help myself and others with finding their own style and learning about myself at the same time.

Señorita in a Red Ruffle Blouse

Follow me on BLOGLOVIN and INSTAGRAM

bag: Second-hand / blouse: New Collection(?) / skirt: Second-hand / shoes: Second-hand

Greetings from Las Palmas! It's been absolutely lovely for these first couple of days we have already spent here and we have truly enjoyed the sun and warmth. We have also scouted some stores clothing as well as cosmetics (aloe vera is HUGE in here!) and have made some great finds. One of them is this gorgeous red ruffle blouse which I fell in love with at a a beach boutique which only had one of each piece in sale. I had to have it since I've been completely smitten with the ruffle trend going on and have been on the look for a bright coloured ruffle piece instead of a pastel one.

What do you think of the outfit, are you in on the ruffle trend?
