Last Day of the Year! - What was it like for me?

Toivotan teille kaikille ihanille hyvää Uuden vuoden aaton viettoa!

The year 2017 has been all in all a pretty great year, even if it had it's downs with me but towards the end it has just gotten better and better, and now I'm in a rather nicely shaped space.

I learned a lot about myself and grew as a person and individual, found my style more and more and went back to some things that I was fond of wayyy back and noticed I still like them. I started to feel like Me again, there's still road to go but I'm so proud of what I have accomplished and what decisions I made this year and were they have led me.

I wish I will be able to move forward and gain more strength in this new year to come. And will get to a point were I can say I am able to love myself rather than just accepting the situation. I will not make it a goal but it would be a nice thing to happen. It would make me even happier than I feel right now.

I wish you all lovelíes a great New Year's Eve!

Things that make me HAPPY at the moment

Follow me on BLOGLOVIN and INSTAGRAM

 - CHRISTMAS! Of course, I'm a total Christmas freak and rejoice when it's December
- Christmas playlists, look above
***

- My new shorter and darker hair. Had this sort of do last time when I was 18 and I feel so at home in it there's nothing else. Very glad I decided to chop the last five cms off
- My skin. I'ts feeling a lot better, only a few breakouts and scars atm which makes me feel so much better about myself
- New jewellery and watches. Especially these rosegold beauties in the pictures, have finally somewhat realized the meaning of accesorizing
***

 - Cleaner apartment. Finally I have managed to clean the heck out of this place, still some to do but far better than it was earlier this week
- My little Boo boy, makes me happy all the time but I wanted to mention him as well <3
- Christmas lights in our home. Have bought led candles and other decor for the darkest time of the year to brighten our nights (and days the sun goes down earlier and earlier but happily soon it's the other way round)
***

- My light therapy lamp. My parents got me this lovely piece of equipment earlier this fall and it has made the days far easier to manage, at least I feel like it
- The snow! It's so much prettier and I love the brisk weather even if it means I need to be more careful when walking around but that's something I'm glad to pay for the view

What makes you happy at the moment? I'd love to hear them!

Acne Flare-up and It's Effects on Me + A Bit of Body Image

*This time only in English*

Hi everyone! We are on our last full day here at Las Palmas and these are photos of my outfit for yesterday evening. As you can see I feel happy and joyful even though my skin doesn't look like it's best. Since coming here my acne completely flared-up and my face especially chin got covered in achy and big breakouts. It's probably because of the sun, sweat and sunscreen combined and has had me a bit down. But I didn't want it to affect my stay here and ruin my so far so good holiday.

Otherwise I really like how I look in these photos, I look cute and happy, but the acne and uneven skin makes me look at these and think I'm an ugly duckling. And the second thought I get is: Why?! When I see acne on some other person I think nothing about it, but on myself it makes me feel really self-conscious and un-confident. But why must it be so? I try to change my perspective and look at myself and not feel bad about how my skin or my body looks. I want to wear whichever clothes I find pretty and nice looking and wear makeup to accentuate my looks and make them stand out.

But as I have suffered from a bad self-image and hated my body for so long it's a long journey to somewhere where I can say I truly love it. Right now I'm on a self-accepting phase, I accept myself as I am at this moment, but I can't say I like it. I use this blog as one platform for self-love and a form to grow as a person. I want to show myself as I am and help myself and others with finding their own style and learning about myself at the same time.

Miten SoMe vaikuttaa mun elämääni? / How Social Media Influences My Life?

Nowadays most of my age younger and a bit older live with phones or tablets almost glued to their hands. Through this we are connected with each other and to the world in real time. It absolutely has both it's pros and cons.

How does social media influence my everyday life then?

I can notice I use social media channels almost constantly through out the day either on my phone, computer or occasionally on a tablet. I can be  connected pretty much all the time to my friends, people in social media and the world if I want to. And most of the time I truly just want to be, I have yet to become anxious for being connected or out there in the social media atmosphere. I love being able to contact my friends on different channels and commenting my favourite bloggers newest insta or blog posts. I also enjoy receiving and answering comments of my own and it makes me very happy and grateful probably because they are almost always just so nice and positive. But I can also get out of this sphere if I want to. Sometimes I post less when I'm feeling down and at some point I'll post several days in a row when feeling inspired. I'd want to get some balance into this thing so that I can please myself and my lovely readers better.

But I can also understand the big social media influencers, who get anxious because of the fame and the baggage that comes with the tens of thousands even hundreds of thousands readers. That gives you a real big feeling of responsibility even though you are not responsible for what your readers do and consume. It can be very emotionally draining and as I'm only a little hen in the big den I can understand how you want to make even a better achievement and make your success even greater as I try to cheer myself on with my little project at hand.

Are you interested to hear more about my thoughts on things like these or something current topics? Ideas can be dropped down in the comment section below if something comes to your mind!
